Conversation between Gracie and I.. Gracie Gracie, where are you I can't find you, I call out for her again. Finally I found her and I said Gracie I was calling your name, didn't you hear mommy? My name is Lucy, oh so your name is Lucy now, yes mom. So all night last night till she fell asleep Patrick and I had to call her Lucy. Lucy also has an imaginary friend, named Taylor, which happens to me my Niece. I'm sure she really misses her. I hope she is Okay. Should I be concerned? Let's hope it's just her imagination.
Don't be concerned about the imaginary friend. It's more than normal! Abbey had an imaginary friend she introduced me to when she was 2. His name was / is "Teddy Bear Not" and Ryan is six and he still talks about imaginary friends.
ReplyDeleteFor Gracie, it's clear she misses her cousin, someone that was apart of her life prior to your big move. For my kids, for Ryan, we are so isolated that for him, it's a way of having more friends.
Imagination is healthy.
